INGV has created a web portal on the Irpinia earthquake with extensive scientific insights, testimonies, and a story map

A project realized by INGV to narrate the impact of such events in an area that, back then, was not yet classified as "seismic".

It shows the meteo-hydrogeological and hydraulic risks warning system. For each color of the alert, the panel lists the effects and damage that may occur in the area.

It is present in the "I don't take risks - Flood" squares and provides information on meteo-hydrogeological and hydraulic risk.

Made of reproductions of news pages, photographs and memories on a single thread, it represents an ideal journey into the historical memory of the area.
