Universal Civil Service: application deadline extended

Applications will be accepted until 20 February at 2 PM

The deadline for the submission of applications for the selection of 71,550 volunteer for the projects of the Universal Civil Service intervention programmes has been extended to 2 PM of  Monday 20 February.

It is still possible for all youth aged between 18 and 28 - in possession of Italian citizenship or that of a EU Member State or extra-EU country, if regularly resident in Italy - to apply for one of the 3,181 projects to implement between 2023 and 2024 in Italy and abroad, lasting between 8 and 12 months.

Among the available projects there is also "I Don't Take Risks 365: Good Civil Protection Practices", promoted by Anpas - Associazione Nazionale Pubbliche Assistenze, in collaboration with the Civil Protection Department and the Cima Foundation, that involves 30 young people in three different projects.

"'I Don't Take Risks 365: Volunteering' and 'I Don't Risks 365: The Population", both managed by Anpas, will involve 26 volunteer in activities aimed to inform the population about the natural risks affecting the Italian territory and help spread good Civil Protection practices.

"I Don't Take Risks 365: Communication" will involve four young people who will have the opportunity to be assigned at the Civil Protection Department and the Cima Foundation to observe the functioning of the Civil Protection System firsthand, learn about monitoring systems, risk forecasting and prevention activities, and actively participate in risk communication using the web and social media.
