I don't take risks: applications for the new civil service program are now open
Applications can be submitted until February 18, 2025
The Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service has announced a new call for applications to select 62,549 volunteer operators. These volunteers will be involved in over 2,000 civil service projects scheduled for 2025 and 2026 in Italy and abroad.
The program "I don't take risks 365: good civil protection practices" has been admitted for the third consecutive year. This initiative is promoted by Anpas in collaboration with the Civil Protection Department and the Cima Foundation. In this edition, it is further enhanced by the partnership with the CSV - Centre for Voluntary Service of Lazio.
Young people aged 18 to 28 with Italian citizenship, citizenship from another European Union member state, or a non-EU country will have the opportunity to choose from one of four projects under the program. The choice will be based on the location and themes of the projects offered.
The "I don't take risks 365: communication 3" initiative will select eight volunteers. Six volunteers will work at the two offices of the Department in Rome, while two will work at the Cima Foundation in Savona. They will help develop new communication strategies to effectively promote civil protection practices, especially among younger generations.
The “I don't take risks 365: volunteering 3” project is designed for nine boys and girls who will work in various Anpas offices in Tuscany. Their role will involve collaborating to promote awareness about prevention and educating others on the natural risks that affect the region.
“I don't take risks 365: population 3” allows for the selection of eight volunteers to participate in informational activities and participatory planning across various municipalities in Abruzzo.
"In Lazio...I don't take risks” is a new project promoted by CSV Lazio that aims to engage 14 young people in civil protection initiatives that support the territory.
To participate in the selection process, you can apply to only one project by 2:00 PM on February 18, 2025, through the Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service platform: https://domandaonline.serviziocivile.it
The civil service provides opportunities for personal and professional growth by dedicating time to projects that enhance community resilience.
In particular, the 39 volunteers selected under the program dedicated to I don't take risks will have the opportunity to closely observe the actions carried out by the components and operational structures of the National Service, both in ordinary situations and during emergencies. They will also actively participate in public awareness campaigns focused on prevention and risk reduction.
