Universal Civil Service: the new spot for the 2023-2024 I don't take risks projects
I don't take risks is also present with three projects for 30 volunteers

The spot realised by the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Service dedicated to the call for applications for the selection of 71,550 volunteer operators who will join the new projects to implement in Italy and abroad is now available.
The activities concerning the Universal Civil Service presented in the 30-second clip broadcast on national TV channels and online will be carried out between 2023 and 2024 and will involve selected applicants. Civil service provides many young people with a unique opportunity for professional training in many fields, always focused on serving the community well-being. In this sense, the civil service is for young people a training ground for active citizenship where they can experience the real work of taking care of the communities and territories they belong to.
The variety of sectors of intervention of the Universal Civil Service ranges from assistance to the most fragile people to the protection of our artistic and cultural heritage, from the promotion of peace to educational issues up to the defence of the environment and biodiversity and Civil Protection. A further added value for young people who choose to commit a period of their lives in favour of others is the possibility of participating in projects, in the same fields of action, that take place abroad.
This year, the program also includes " I don't take risks 365: good civil protection practices", promoted by Anpas - Associazione Nazionale Pubbliche Assistenze in cooperation with the Civil Protection Department and the Cima Foundation. The 30 selected will explore the founding themes of the national communication campaign through the three-year projects "'I Don't take Risks 365: volunteering' and 'I Don't take Risks 365: the population', both curated by Anpas, and 'I Don't take Risks 365: communication' by the Department and the Cima Foundation.
Four participants will be involved in "'I don't take risks 365: communication", which will take place at the Civil Protection Department and at the Cima Foundation. During the 12 months planned, volunteers will be able to make their contribution by actively participating in the dissemination of good Civil Protection practices through the campaign's website and social channels. They will also be involved in training activities on topics such as safety and risk reduction, knowledge of the natural hazards that affect the territory, and understanding the Civil Protection System.
To apply for one of the three projects of the program "I don't take risks 365: good practices of Civil Protection" it is necessary to be between 18 and 28 years of age and hold the Italian citizenship, or of one of other EU Member States or of a non-EU country and regularly reside in Italy. of The application can be sent by 2.00 p.m. of February 10, 2023 on the DOL-Domanda on line platform available at https://domandaonline.serviziocivile.it.
