The campaign will open the National Civil Protection Week that will run until October 19.
The campaign “I don’t take risks” will return to the squares of Italy to promote good civil protection practices and raise citizens’ awareness of local risks and the behaviour to adopt in the case of calamitous events.
This year the campaign promoted and implemented by the Civil Protection Department, Anpas, Ingv, ReLuis and Cima Foundation will occur on 12 and 13 October in occasion of the opening of the Civil Protection Week: 7 days of events and initiatives at national and local level in which Italian citizens have the opportunity to come into contact with the people of the National Service of Civil Protection.
At its ninth edition, “I don’t take risks” will include informative gazebos in more than 850 squares throughout Italy with volunteers from national and local civil protection associations who will describe in detail the risks of earthquake, flood, tsunami and – as a new feature of the 2019 edition – also the volcanic risk on the occasion of the national Exe Flegrei 2019 exercise.
“I don’t take risks” is not only a slogan of the campaign but it is a purpose, it is the pacific struggle that each of us should pursue for the diffusion of awareness to strengthen our safety.
